Flower Haven

In 1970 a plot of land in Haworth Road was eventually purchased from the Local Authority where twenty three bungalows have been built, all on the level and within walking distance of shops, medical centre and other amenities.

Flower Haven was opened by the Earl of Rosse in November 1971.

The current rent for Flower Haven (with the exception of one 2-bedroomed property) is £52.50 per week payable at 4 weekly intervals in arrears. The next review of rents is due in April 2013.

For Council Tax purposes all properties at Flower Haven fall under Council Tax Band A.
